Extreme cold is expected overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday
CBC NewsFrigid overnight wind chill values throughout western Manitoba could make it feel like –40, according to the national weather agency.
A cold, arctic air mass is moving over eastern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba, and with it temperatures on Tuesday night will drop near –30 C and colder, Environment and Climate Change Canada said.
The cold temperatures, combined with northerly winds of 10 to 15 km/h, are expected to produce extreme wind chill values.
