Earlier extreme cold weather warnings included the Brandon area, which will still see frigid temperatures
CBC NewsExtreme cold warnings issued by Environment Canada earlier Saturday for southwestern Manitoba, including the Brandon area, have now been lifted, the weather agency says.
Environment Canada had issued extreme cold warnings earlier Saturday for areas including Brandon, Neepawa, Virden, Pilot Mound, Minnedosa and Riding Mountain National Park.
Those warnings were lifted around 9 a.m., as conditions were no longer expected to reach the extreme cold warning criteria, Environment Canada said.
