CBC NewsSelkirk RCMP have arrested a 32-year-old man for personating a peace officer after he allegedly pulled over women driving down Highway 9, claiming to be an off-duty RCMP officer, a news release says.
A woman driving near Petersfield, Man., on Sept. 30 was pulled over by a pickup truck with emergency lights, RCMP said.
After stopping her, the man driving the pickup accused the woman of speeding, while claiming to be an RCMP officer who was off duty.
